It was made possible through the Salt Lake Valley Health Department and is designed to increase awareness about obesity and provide helpful information. - A Food and Exercise Diary is provided to help you plan and record your healthy weight loss. This diary is in PDF format and can be printed out or filled out on the web. Studies have shown that people who go through the simple act of writing down the foods that they eat, lose more weight and keep it off better than those who don’t use a diary.
- A Food List of over 6,600 different foods with their nutritional values. The calories, carbohydrates, fat, protein, and fiber content of each food is listed based on a standard serving size. WW Points are also calculated.
- An Activity List of over 600 activities with the calories spent exercising.
- Body Mass Index calculates the BMI based on height and weight.
- Daily Caloric Needs calculates the number of calories needed to maintain your current weight. There is also more information on how to lose and gain weight healthily.
